Jon Daining moved to Alaska in 2014 and has photographed Southcentral Alaska ever since — the glaciers of Kenai Fjords, the bears of McNeil River, the aurora over Denali. Ten Years in Alaska, published in 2026, documents the first decade of that work. He lives and photographs in Anchorage.
